Summary For convenience's sake, we will here summarize the data obtained by the strychninization of the cortical areas 4, 6, 18, 19 and 22 before commenting on the experimental result. By the local strychninization of area 4, spikes were obtained in caput nuclei caudati, putamen, globus pallid us externus et internus, and nucleus ventralis thalami, of which the spike distribution was the thickest in caput nuclei caudati. While it covered the portion from the outer side to the center, it turned to more or less mesio‐ventral portion as it approached the caudal part, with its degree gradually fading off.
