Marsden, K.A., Newman, N.M., and Marsden, D.E. (1979).Aust. Paediatr. J. , 15, 49–52. Imerslund's syndrome. A case from Australia and review of the literature. A second Australian case of Imerslund's syndrome is reported, and the literature on the condition reviewed. The patient showed the typical features of specific malabsorption of vitamin B12 in the presence of normal intrinsic factor, and in the absence of generalised intestinal malabsorption, together with non‐specific proteinuria. The age at presentation was greater than the majority of previous cases.
