Hutchison, A. A. and Russell, G. (1979).Aust. Paediatr. J , 15, 44–46. Respiratory studies in an infant with neonatal myasthenia gravis. Respiratory mechanics were measured in an infant with neonatal myasthenia gravis at the age of six and fourteen days. At the age of six days, but not at the age of fourteen days, an intravenous injection of edrophonium chloride brought about an increase in ventilation and in all components of respiratory work.
