SYNOPSIS A 3 1/2 year old girl received irradiation therapy to the abdomen, including both renal areas, following the surgical removal of a ganglioneuroblastoma. 8 1/2 years later, she developed hypertension which was cured by the removal of the radiation damaged kidney. Radiation nephritis is discussed along with other possible causes of the raised blood pressure.
