SYNOPSIS Raised serum levels of total phospholipid were found in 12 of 22 untreated diabetic children, and in 2 of 22 treated diabetic children. The mean distribution of serum phospholipid phosphorus between the 4 phospholipid fractions in treated and untreated diabetic children did not differ significantly from that found in normal children.
