SYNOPSIS Respiratory function studies were performed on a number of occasions on 11 infants with recurrent asthmatic bronchitis. The results demonstrated that the major abnormality was an increase in pulmonary resistance. Orciprenaline was shown to have no consistent effect on the increased pulmonary resistance.
