SYNOPSIS An infant with a cerebral arteriovenous aneurysm presented with cyanosis and cardiac failure in the first week of life. The diagnosis was made at 19 months of age after a generalized convulsion, and the child died at the age of 2 years 7 months during an attempt to ligate the blood vessels feeding the aneurysm.
