EDITORIAL SYNOPSIS This paper reports a study of the quantities of certain metabolites of catecholamines in the urine of children in hospital suffering from various disorders, including 15 children with neural crest tumours and indicates these estimations to be of considerable value in the diagnosis of such tumours, and in the management of some of them, particularly pheochromocytoma.
