SUMMARY 1. The time of onset and dose threshold for ACTH induced hypertension was examined in conscious sheep. 2. ACTH 1 μg/kg per day significantly raised blood pressure. The maximum rise occurred at 2 μg/kg per day. 3. The rise in pressure was significant after 8 h of ACTH infusion.
