Some Aspects of a Clinical Education Programme for Occupational Therapy Students Affiliated at a Psychiatric Hospital: 1979–1983

This paper presents an outline of a programme in a psychiatric hospital which, over a five year period, provided for the psychosocial clinical education of 105 students. Results from the evaluation of some aspects of this programme, including feedback from students, are also presented and discussed. The paper provides a model for collaboration between clinicians and educators in the clinical education of occupational therapy students, and suggests areas for future research.
