SUMMARY If we ask the who, what, why, how and when of these four key factors, do we obtain satisfactory replies? Can we satisfy ourselves that the whole process will save life or improve the outcomes of our treatments? If so, it were knavery to oppose it. Are we convinced that anything more than a voluntary adherence to proper standards produced carefully by our College is really necessary? If these are the questions, what are the answers?
