We report a case of a 39‐year‐old woman from A delaide who developed allergic contact dermatitis to the rare allergen indium in her ring. The allergen was sourced for patch testing using the C ontact A llergen B ank A ustralia ( CABA ), based at the S kin and C ancer F oundation in M elbourne, and posted to A delaide. This case illustrates the usefulness of CABA in facilitating patch testing throughout A ustralia, especially when rare allergens are involved.
