SUMMARY The Karapandzic technique is easy in perform and provides excellent results for full thickness defects larger than one‐third of the tower lip. The flap Ls slid and rotated into position while an intact neurovascular pedicle is maintained. Accordingly, sensation and circulalion of the lip is preserved and function of the orbicularis oris muscle is maintained.
