S ummary This article is an overview of some of the most recent dermatological instrumentation available to physicians. With the global shift in dermatology towards comprehensive patient care, both medically and surgically, a dermatologist must be knowledgeable of the therapeutic alternatives offered by new electronic and photoelectronic modalities and appliances. The laser, ultra‐violet point irradiator. Infrared Coagulator®, ultrasound, high voltage galvanic stimulator, and other applicances such as the Ligmajec®, pressure syringe and Evan's oral scar reduction appliance are discussed.
