S ummary Thirteen patients with recalcitrant warts were topically sensitized to dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB) which was subsequently applied to the warts in a series of multiple treatments. Nine of the thirteen patients lost their warts, resolution occurring within an average time of 4.5 months. The possible mechanisms underlying this form of treatmerit are discussed.
