S ummary Using the double‐blind, paired compairson technique, halcinonide and betamethasone valerate creams were evaluated in 19 patients with psoriasis, seven with atopic dermatitis and one with eczematous dermatitis. Results after two weeks of therapy showed halcinonide to be comparable in efficacy to betamethasone valerate with excellent or good responses in 88 per cent of 27 patients.
