SUMMARY Fifty‐eight patients suffering from a variety of dermatoses were treated with 10% urea in a non‐greasy base. Excellent results were obtained in patients with ichthyosis and other hyperkeratotic conditions. In atopic dermatitis, disseminated neurodermatitis, hand dermatitis and seborrhœic dermatitis the results were only fair. No improvement was noted in psoriasis, pustular psoriasis, solar keratosis and peri‐oral dermatitis.
