Contents: The replicating patterns of bovine sex chromosomes were statistically analyzed . The replicating patterns of the 3 X chromosomes (2 from u female, 1 from a male) showed significant differences throughout the S period of the cell cycle, and the replicating pattcrns of Y chromosome showed a significant differences only between the last stage of the S period and the other stages. The differences among 3 X chromosomes were statistically analyzed for each one‐fourth stage of the S period. It was concluded that one female X chromosome (late replicating X chromosome) is significantly different from the other female X chromosome (early replicating X chromosome) and the X chromosome of the male .
