Inhalt: Von 230 Schlachtrindern aus dem norddeutschen Raum (Hannover, Hameln, Lünbeburger Heide) wurde zu verschiedenen Jahreszeiten der Mn‐Gehalt der Ovarien und zum Teil der Gelbkörper untersucht. Die Mittelwerte für die Ovarien betrugen 1,2 ppm, (Tr.S.), für die Gelbkörper 4,5 ppm, (Tr.S.) Bei Weidetieren ebenso wie bei Rindern von Heideböden lagen die Mn‐Gehalte in Ovar und Gelbkörper zum Teil signifikant tiefer.Der Mn‐Gehalt der Ovarien wird nicht vom Zyklustag, in geringem Umfang jedoch von der Gröβe des Organs beeinfluβt.Bei Rindern mit Ovarialzysten bzw. Genitalkatarrhen wurden besonders niedrzge Mn‐Gehalte (Mittelwert 0,97 bzw. 0,87 ppm (Tr.S.) festgestellt.Contents: A contribution to the concentration of manganese in ovary and corpus luteum in cattle The manganese content of the ovaries and of corpora lutea was analysed in various seasons of the year from 230 slaughter cattles out of the areal of "Norddeutschland" (Hannover, Hameln, Lünbeburger Heide). The mean values of the ovaries were 1,2 ppm, (DM) and of the corpora lutea 4,5 ppm (DM). The manganese content of ovary and corpus luteum was in part significant lower from cattle coming from the meadow or heathy ground. The manganese content of the ovaries does not depend on the cycle but a bit on the volume of the organ. The Manganese content in ovaries of cattle with ovarian cysts or uterine catarrh was especially low (mean value 0,97 or 0,87 ppm [ DM ] ).
