Hybrid necrosis in Triticum is known to be caused by the interaction of two complementary dominant genes. Varieties of many tetroploid and hexaploid wheat species have been described according to their genotype for this character. In the present contribution, the genotype for hybrid necrosis of 25 spring wheat varieties is presented.
