Summary: Neutrophil granulocytes isolated from healthy volunteers were found to kill proteinase‐producing Candida albicans strains more effectively than proteinase negative strains in vitro (p < 0.01).The proportion was one Candida cell to one, three or five granulocytes. Zusammenfassung: Durch neutrophile Granulozyten gesunder Probanden werden in vitro bei einem Verhältnis von einer Candidazelle zu einem, drei oder fünf Granulozyten Proteinase‐positive Candida‐albicans‐Stämme besser abgetötet als Proteinase‐negative Stämme (p < 0,01).
