Summary: An easy way to study dermatophytes at the same time as the immunologic staining of epidermal Langerhans cells is described. The actual method includes a modified PAS stain in combination with an immunohistochemical device. OKT 6 monoclonal antibodies and immunoperoxidase are used allowing the simultaneous visualization of dermatophyte hyphae in the stratum comeum and Langerhans cells in the epidermis. Zusammenfassung: Es wird eine einfache Methode beschrieben, die es erlaubt, im histologi‐schen Schnitt gleichzeitig das Myzel von Dermatophyten und immunhistologisch dargestellte epidermale Langerhans‐Zellen zu untersuchen. Die Methode stellt eine Kombination der PAS‐Farbung mit einem immunhistochemischen Verfahren dar. OKT 6 monoklonale Antikbrper und Immunperoxidase werden hierbei verwendet
