Summary: A controlled double blind study was planned in order to test the effecthity of Econazole spray powder on athlete's foot 71 patients from three different centres were investigated. The results were good and tolerance was excellent. Methodological problems of the study are described and discussed. Zusammenfassung: Es wurde eine kontrollierte Doppelblindstudie geplant um die Wirksamkeit von Econazol Spray‐Puder bei Fußpilz zu testen. 71 Patienten von 3verschiedenen Zentren wurden untersucht. Die Resultate waren sehr gut und die Toleranz hervorragend. Die methodologischen Probleme einer solchen Prüfung werden erläutert und besprochen.
