Zusammenfassung: 80 Erdproben wurden in der Region von Bandung gesammelt. 35mal wurde Mikrosporum gypseum, 2mal Nannizzia incurvata aus dem Erdboden isoliert. Außerdem wurden Untersuchungsmaterialien von 56 Patienten mit dem klinischen Verdacht einer Dermatomykose untersucht. 6mal wurde Trichophyton violaceum, 2mal Trichophyton concentricum und 1mal Mikrosporum gypseum gefunden. Bei einer Reihenuntersuchung von 619 Schulkindern wurde nur ein Fall einer Dermatomykose durch Trichophyton violaceum nachgewiesen. Summary: Out of 80 soil samples collected in the Bandung area 35 strains of Microsporum gypseum and two strains of Nannizzia incurvata were isolated in the Mycological Laboratories of the Institute of Parasitology in Bandung and of the University of Hamburg. Skin specimen of 56 patients with clinical suspect of a dermatomycosis were examined. In these six isolates of Trichophyton violaceum, two isolates of Trichophyton concentricum and one isolate of Microsporum gypseum were cultured. In a survey of 519 school children only one case of a dermatomycosis was found which was due to Trichophyton violaceum.
