Ophthalmologie: Durch Candida albicans verursachte Keratomykose nach Keratoplastik

Zusammenfassung Die Autoren besprechen einen nach Keratoplastik aufgetretenen Fall von durdi Candida albicans verursachter Keratomykose, der sich in 10 Jahren bei über mehr als 1000 Keratoplastiken ein einziges Mai einstellte. In der Entstehung spielen wahrscheinlich das durch den Eingriff gesetzte Trauma und eine lange Antibioticum‐ und Corticosteroid‐Behandlung eine Rolle. Trotzdem kann auf die Anwendung dieser wichtigen Mittel in der postoperaitven Behandlung der Kerato‐plastik nicht verziditet werden. Summary A discussion of a case of keratomycosis caused by Candida albicans, secondary to keratoplasty. This was the only such case among more than 1000 keratoplasties carried out in 10 years' time. In the genesis the surgical trauma and protracted antibiotic and corticosteroid therapy are probably involved. However, these important drugs cannot be omitted from postoperative treatment of keratoplasty cases.
