Telfairia mosaic virus (TeMV) was transmitted through seeds of four highly susceptible cultivars of fluted pumpkin ( Telfairia occidentalis Hook f.) in a screenhouse experiment. Infection was confirmed through visual appraisal and electron microscopy in cvs NHTo 75–10 (14), 54–4 (4), 54–4 (7), and 6–7 (14), to the extent of 20, 10, 6.4 and 6 % respectively.
