Tubular structures found in tissue homogenates of Chenopodium quinoa , infected with a parsnip isolate of SLRV, were described. Virus‐like particles within the tubules had been differentially penetrated by “negative” stain. The presence within some tubules of particles fully penetrated by stain was apparently a new observation for SLRV.
