In an experiment carried out under field conditions, wheat inoculated with Gaeumanmyces graminis var. tritics had less take‐all and yielded significantly more grain when simultaneously inoculated with G. graminis var. graminis and a lobed hyphopodiate phialophora sp. then when unprotected with these fungi.
