Summary Host‐parasite relationship and associated biochemical changes in the “Green ear” disease of Bajra {Pennisetum typhoides Stapf and Hubb.} caused by Sclerospora graminicola (Sacc.) Schroet. have been studied in this laboratory for the past few years (SINHA 1965). This paper briefly describes changes in the respiration and peroxidase activity of Bajra tissues affected with this disease.
