Length‐weight relationships of 23 fish species from the Ergis River in Xingjiang, China

Summary In this study the length–weight relationships of 23 fish species belonging to eight families and 21 genera from the Ergis River in China were analyzed. A total of 1869 specimens were used to estimate the relationship parameters. Seven of these fish species and one maximum length are new to science against FishBase. The r 2 value ranged from 0.975 to 0.999. Values of b varied from 2.630 to 3.494.
