The present study deals with life tables and intrinsic rate of natural increase of Bracon hebetor Say, a larval parasitoid of Corcyra cephalonica Staint, and a key parasitoid of Helicoverpa armigera Hbn. The longevity of ovipositing female ranged from 32 to 42 days with an average of 37.5 days. The total number of progeny produced was 258.9 (range 251–270). The maximum mean progeny production per day, m x was 5.5. The innate capacity of increase was 0.215 per female per day and population multiplied to 52.12 times in mean generation time of 18.38 days. Zusammenfassung Lebenstafeln und Vermehrungsrate von Bracon hebetor Say (Hym., Braconidae), Schlüsselparasitoid von Helicoverpa armigera Hbn. (Lep., Noctuidae) in Corcyra cephalonica St. (Lep., Pyralidae ) Die Lebensdauer der eierablegender Weibchen des Parasitoiden Bracon hebetor in Corcyra cephalonica betrug 32 bis 42 Tage (m = 37,5). Die Gesamtzahl der Nachkommen lag zwischen 251 und 270 (n = 259). Die maximale Nachkommenserzeugung pro Tag (mx) wurde mit 5,5 ermittelt. Die innere Vermehrungsrate (intrinsic rate) betrug pro Weibchen 0,215 pro Tag, so daß die Parasitoidpopulation sich bei einer mittleren Generationsdauer von 18,4 Tagen um das 52,1fache vermehrte.
