Methods for analysing isoenzymes of different populations in Pityogenes chalcographus L. (Coleoptera, Scolytidae). I. Adaption of methods, enzyme polymorphism Methods for the distinct separation of the isozymes of Peroxidase, Glutamate‐Oxaloacetate‐Transaminase, Esterase, Acid Phosphatase, Amylase and Leucin‐Aminopeptidase of the bark beetle Pityogenes chalcographus (Col., Scolytidae) by polyacrylamidgel‐electrophoresis are described. All six enzymes are found polymorphic. The electrophoretic patterns are typical for each population from six different regions of Northern und Central Europe. Zusammenfassung Für den kleinen Fichtenborkenkäfer Pityogenes chalcographus L. (Col., Scolytidae) konnten die Nachweismethoden von Isoenzymen der Peroxidase, Glutamat‐Oxaloacetat‐Transaminase, Esterase, saure Phosphatase, Amylase, sowie Leucin‐Aminopeptidase verbessert werden. Als Auftren‐nungsverfahren diente die vertikale Polyacrylamidgel‐Elektrophorese. Analysiert wurden 6 Käfer‐populationen aus unterschiedlichen Regionen Nord‐ und Zentraleuropas. Alle beschriebenen Enzyme erschienen polymorph und zeigten weitgehend populationstypische Isoenzymmuster
