Ermittlung und Anwendung wirtschaftlicher Schadensschwellen im Pflanzenschutz 1

Assessment and practical use of the economic threshold in plant protection systems In a reliable agricultural production system the economic threshold should be the central point of all plant production measures. Its determination can be deduced from the loss dimensions caused by a damaging factor to a plant crop, the costs of preventive measures and the sequel costs of these measures. Special attention is drawn to the external costs of plant protection, those are not considered in the farm management‐calculation yet. In order to make the best of the advantages follow from considering of the economic threshold, a re‐orientation of the plant protection service respectively a priority list of its official duties is necessary. Otherwise, a changing over to integrated control system will hardly be realized. Zusammenfassung Bei einem Pflanzenschutz im Sinne eines guten pflanzenbaulichen Produktionsverfahrens muß die wirtschaftliche Schadensschwelle im Mittelpunkt stehen. Sie ist aus dem finanziellen Ausmaß der von einer Schadursache angerichteten Schäden an den Kulturpflanzen, der Verhütung solcher Schäden und der Folgekosten der Verhütungsmaßnahmen zu ermitteln. Dabei wird besonders auf die externen Pflanzenschutzkosten hingewiesen, die bisher betriebswirtschaftlich nicht beachtet wurden. Zur Nutzung der Vorteile, die sich bei Beachtung wirtschaftlicher Schadensschwellen ergeben, ist eine Neuorientierung des Pflanzenschutzdienstes bzw. eine Prioritätenliste seiner Aufgaben notwendig. Anders scheint der Übergang zu integrierten Pflanzenschutzverfahren nicht möglich zu sein.
