Studies on the Population Dynamics of Lepidosaphes pallida (Green) (Homopt., Coccoidea)

Studies on the individual effect of heights, directions and seasons revealed their high significant effect on the distribution of Lepidosaphes pallida on trees of Mangifera indica L. Season‐direction and season‐height interactions had no significant effect on the insect distribution, while height‐direction interaction is effective on the distribution of most insect items. Zusammenfassung Über die Populationsdynamik von Lepidosaphes pallida (Green) (Homopt., Coccoidea). II. Wirkungen einiger Faktoren auf die Schildlaus‐Verteilung Baumhöhe, Richtung und Jahreszeit beeinflußten die Verteilung von L. pallida an den Mangifera‐Bäumen. Jahreszeit‐Richtung‐ und Jahreszeit‐Höhe‐Korrelationen zeigten keine deutlichen Beziehungen zur Schildlaus‐Verteilung, wohl aber eine Kopplung von Höhe und Richtung.
