This investigation covers a taxonomic survey of different groups of mites found on field crops in Alexandria District, U.A.R. Fourty‐three mite species were collected representing three suborders of the Parasitiformes, Trombidiformes and Sarcoptiformes. These suborders were represented by seven, twenty‐six, and ten species respectively. Zusammenfassung Über die Milbenfauna landwirtschafllicher Kulturen im Distrikt Alexandrien, U.A.R. Es wird eine Übersicht über die an landwirtschaftlichen Kulturpflanzen lebenden Milben Alexandriens gegeben. 43 Milbenarten wurden gesammelt, welche 3 Unterordnungen angehören: Parasitiformes (7 Arten), Trombidiformes (26 Arten) und Sarcoptiformes (10 Arten).
