Zusammenfassung Neben einem Überblick über die bisher an Koniferen bekanntgewordenen Gallmilben ( Eriophyidae ) wird über die Auffindung einer in den Maitriebnadeln der Weißtanne ( Abies alba Mill.) lebenden Gallmilbe berichtet. Der Befall ist äußerlich an den Nadeln durch eine charakteristische, querstreifen‐weise Bräunung zu erkennen, die auf das Saugen der Milben im Nadel‐parenchym zurückzuführen ist. Diese Tannennadel‐Gallmilbe wird als Trisetacus abietis n. sp. ( Eriophyidae, Acarina ) beschrieben und abgebildet. Erste Angaben zur Lebensweise der Gallmilbe werden mitgeteilt. Summary Besides a survey of gall mites ( Eriophyidae ) to be found on coniferous trees it is to be reported on a new gall mite living within the young needles of the silver fir ( Abies alba Mill.). Attacked needles can be detected by characteristic brownish cross‐stripes produced by the sucking of the gall mites within the parenchyma of the needles. This fir gall mite is to be described as Trisetacus abietis n. sp. ( Eriophyidae, Acarina ). Preliminary informations concerning its life history are to be given.
