Summary Survey of the economic insect pests of cultivated crops in the Jordan River Valley (Al‐Ghor) was carried out during the years 1960 and 1961. In this paper 36 species of insects belonging to 23 families and to 7 orders, and 7 species of other animals belonging to 5 families and 3 orders were identified. Economic crops attacked by different pests have been mentioned.
