Comparative studies were made on the effect of bacteria and actinomycetes on germination of conidia of Cylindrocarpon destructans . It was found that bacteria, especially strains isolated from the mycorrhizosphere affected germination of conidia stronger than the actinomycetes, although the response of different isolates of the fungus to the action of the strains used was different.
