Fusicoccum quercus Oudem., the cause of a bark dieback, and other bark fungi from oak . A survey of pathogenic and non‐pathogenic fungi on the bark of young oak includes F. quercus for which the symptoms and epidemiology are described in detail and Amphiporthe leiphaemia, Phomopsis quercella, Pezicula cinnamomea, Hercospora taleola, Colpoma quercinum and Botrytis cinerea .
