The effect of fatty acids in stimulating production of perithecia of Ceratocystis ips, C. minor and C. capillifera. Perithecia formation of three species of Ceratocystis is stimulated by somo unsaturated fatty acids, spccially linoleic acid, and one saturated fatty acid (arachidic acid).
