An Attempt at Creating The Structure of Andrological Science/Versuch der Strukturierung einer Wissenschaft von der Andrologie

Summary: The cognition and assessment of various spheres of behaviour and vital activity of man are possible only through a systemic approach to its study. It is nessessary to point out the different levels of methodological approach to the problem of a successful development of andrology and to determine their tasks and limitations. The main sections of research of andrology must include: medico‐biological, philosophic‐anthropological, sociological, and psychological investigations of personality. Accordingly andrology is at a junction of the natural and social sciences, i. e. an interdisciplinary science. Zusammenfassung: Die Kenntnis und die Wertung der verschiedenen Sphären des Verhaltens und der vitalen Aktivität des Mannes sind ausschließlich durch eine systematische Untersuchung möglich. Es ist notwendig, die unterschiedlichen Werte einer methodologischen Untersuchung zu diesem Problem einer erfolgreichen Entwicklung der Andrologie herauszustellen und ihre Aufgaben und Grenzen zu bestimmen. Die hauptsächlichen Abschnitte der Andrologie müssen folgende Aspekte beinhalten: Ärztlich‐biologische, philosophisch‐anthropologische, soziologische und psychologische Untersuchungen der jeweiligen Persönlichkeit. Dementsprechend ist die Andrologie als eine Verbindung von Naturwissenschaft und Sozialwissenschaft d. h. als eine interdisziplinäre Wissenschaft aufzufassen.
