The purpose was to study the occurrence and fine structure of macrophages in the ex‐current ducts of the testis in normal fowls. The material was taken from six young adult cockerels, which were fixed by vascular perfusion. The macrophages were studied by light and electron microscopy. The occurrence and fine structure of the macrophages were described. The origin and fate of the macrophages were discussed.
