Zusammenfassung Für die im Thymus‐Interstitium von jungen Katzen gefundenen und beschriebenen epitheloiden Zellformationen bietet sich auf Grund ihrer Mikromorphologie der Vergleich mit entsprechenden Zellen anderer Organe an. So beinhalten z. B. die Leydigschen Zwischenzellen des Hodens, die Gelbkörper‐Zellen im Ovar sowie die Zellen der Nebennierenrinde in ihrem Zytoplasma Strukturelemente, die in vergleichbarer Form und Anordnung sowie in an‐nähernd gleichem Ausmaß in den epitheloiden Zellen des Thymus‐Interstitium junger Katzen zu finden sind.
