SUMMARY Sixteen new species belonging to Taraxacum sect. Vulgaria Dahlst. are described and the area of distribution is given: T. denticulatum, T. effusum, T. exsertiforme, T. hebelobum, T. horridum, T. incomptum, T. limburgense, T. notabile, T. nubilum, T.prionoides, T. pseudacrolobum, T. replicatum, T. rigens, T. singulare, T. sublacerifolium, T. vastisectiforme . Besides, two varieties belonging to well known species are mentioned.
