SUMMARY Chrysomeris ramosa (Chrysophyceae) has been found in samples from one locality in The Netherlands and two localities in Denmark. The alga was found in spring in moist, brackish areas with a well‐developed algal vegetation. The composition of the algal vegetation of the Dutch and Danish localities suggests an unstable mesohaline habitat.
