Structural studies on the O‐specific polysaccharide of Citrobacter PCM 1487 lipopolysaccharide, using methylation analysis, Smith degradation and 1 H‐NMR spectroscopy, indicate that it consists of the trisaccharide repeating unitsIn this structure, 4‐deoxy‐ d ‐ ara Hex stands for 4‐deoxy‐ d ‐ arabino ‐hexose.
