The first case of hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN) due to anti‐Ul a antibodies is described. The infant had severe anemia with a positive direct antiglobulin test with anti‐IgG that required blood transfusion. But jaundice was not severe enough for exchange transfusion or phototherapy.
