. The Rh reactions of blood samples from members of a Negro family in which the ‘Santi’ complex occurs are presented. The ‘Santi’ complex is characterized by a weak expression of D, G and V, and failure to produce hr s and the ‘e‐like’ antigen defined by the Santiago serum. The complex is inherited in a straightforward manner although the possibility remains that the altered expression of the D, G and V antigens results from the action of an Rh‐linked or built‐in modifier.
