Abstract. IEOP is a simple technique which has been shown to be readily applicable to the detection of IgG antibodies to vaccinia antigen(s) which may be found in the sera of selected donors. It is suggested that the use of IEOP for screening purposes may improve the availability of plasma suitable for preparing anti‐vaccinia immune globulin.
