An Antibody in the Serum of an MN Patient which Reacts with the M 1 Antigen

. Three atypical saline agglutinins were found in a serum and were identified as anti‐Vw, anti‐Bp a and anti‐M 1 . The patient is MN and the anti‐M 2 is the first example to be found in the absence of anti‐M. The M 1 antigen was present in 16.7% of Negro M‐positive samples. One M 1 N S‐s‐U‐ sample was also detected.
